David joined JANA in 2010. Before joining JANA, David was the MD of New Mountain Capital and the PM of the New Mountain Vantage Fund (2005-2010). Prior to that, he was an associate PM at Neuberger Berman (2002-2005), a member of the acquisitions team at Starwood Capital Group (1999-2002) and an analyst at Tiger Management (1998-1999).
David is a member of the Board of Directors of BlackSky Technology Inc. following its merger with Osprey Technology Acquisition Corp. (a SPAC co-sponsored by JANA) where he served on JANA’s behalf as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Osprey Technology. David received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (1998) and an AB in Government from Harvard College with honors (1992).
